Our neighbours

When we say ‘neighbours’, we mean this in the broadest sense of the word. Naturally, it refers to the people living in the direct surroundings of Maasvlakte 2, such as the inhabitants of Oost Voorne, Hoek van Holland and of course the city of Rotterdam. However, for us, the province of Zuid-Holland and even Nederland Distributieland (logistics association) are neighbours as well, because it is important to us to look beyond set boundaries and fixed ideas.

The Netherlands

RWG is not merely part of Maasvlakte 2, or of the port, or of Rotterdam. RWG is part of the Netherlands. Therefore, we feel that our responsibility reaches beyond the borders of the port.

Community of interests

We seek interaction with the various interest groups, such as city councils, nature and environmental organisations and the business community. In doing so, we respect the range of perspectives and the different ways of communicating.
